AI Processing of Uploaded Photos
When you upload a photo to use AI generation, filters, or enhancement features, the image you select may be transmitted securely to our servers for processing. This processing is required due to the high computational resources needed for AI generation.
All AI processing is performed on servers owned or controlled by APERO TECHNOLOGIES GROUP PTE. LTD. We do not use external third-party AI providers to process your photos.
Your photo is used solely to generate the requested result and is not used for identification, profiling, or biometric recognition.
Images are transmitted using secure encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and are stored only temporarily for processing.
Information Collected Automatically
Screen Resolution: Information about the device’s screen resolution is automatically collected to configure display settings appropriately and ensure that visual content is presented correctly according to the device screen.
Device's Language: We collect automatically the device’s language settings to determine and apply the appropriate language for the in-app content, ensuring that content is displayed in the user’s preferred language and improving your experience. This information may be stored on servers as required for service functionality.
App version: We collect the application version to support and track compatibility, monitor adoption of new releases, and assist in troubleshooting technical issues. This information is stored on servers for service maintenance and improvement.

For greater clarity, the App also uses certain third-party services and platforms, including Firebase, RevenueCat, Adjust, Strapi (CMS), and Apple In-App Purchase, to support its core functionality. AI Processing and Server Infrastructure
To provide AI-based image generation and enhancement features, the App may transmit photos selected by the user to our secure servers for processing.
All AI processing is performed exclusively on infrastructure owned, operated, or directly controlled by APERO TECHNOLOGIES GROUP PTE. LTD.. We do not sell, transfer, or disclose your photos to any external AI provider, data broker, or advertising network.
Cloud infrastructure providers (such as AWS, Google Cloud, or similar hosting providers) may store data temporarily as part of providing server infrastructure. These providers act only as data processors under our instructions and are contractually required to provide data protection equal to or greater than the protection described in this Privacy Policy.
User photos are used only to perform the requested AI generation and are deleted after processing is complete.
Business Transfers:
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, your Personal Data may be shared or transferred as part of such a transaction, subject to standard confidentiality arrangements.

APP-SPECIFIC PERMISSIONS
The main Permissions used by FaceGenie - AI Face Editor are described below.
Permission 1: NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription
This permission allows the app to access photos you select from your photo library so you can import images as input for AI-generated image creation. The app only accesses the photos you choose and does not access or scan your entire photo library.
Permission 2: NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription
This permission allows the app to save AI-generated creation, such as images or videos you create in the app to your photo library so you can store and access your generated content on your device. The app only saves content that you choose to export.
Permission 3: NSCameraUsageDescription
This permission allows the application to access the device camera and you are able to capture photos on the application, which may be used as input for AI-generated content. Camera access is only activated when you initiate the capture process, and the app does not capture images without your explicit action.
Permission 4: NSUserTrackingUsageDescription
This permission allows the application to request your permission to access the device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) for the purposes of advertising attribution, performance measurement, and optimization of advertising activities. If you do not allow tracking, the app will not access IDFA for these purposes without your action.
These permissions are essential for the app to function properly and are strictly used in accordance with Apple App Store's regulations to ensure a secure, efficient, and user-respecting operation.
