Face – Privacy Policy

Face is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how your data is handled when using the app. We focus on minimal data collection, full transparency, and giving users control.
1. No Account, No Personal Data
Face does not require account registration, and we do not collect any personal information such as:
* Full name
* Email address
* Phone number
* Location
We also do not request access to your:
* Contacts
* Photos or gallery
* Camera or microphone
* Device location
2. Permissions
Face may ask for:
* Push Notification permission, to notify you of new features or updates
* iOS Tracking Transparency permission, which may appear on iOS devices for anonymous usage analysis
3. Anonymous Analytics
We use Firebase (by Google) to collect anonymous event data (e.g., button taps, screen visits).
An automatically generated, anonymous user ID (e.g., “user 01”) is created for session tracking. This ID is internal and cannot be accessed by the user.
No personal identity or identifying information is ever stored.
We do not store analytics data in our own backend — all data stays within Firebase and is used strictly for improving the app experience.
4. Generated Image & Storage
Image you create with Face may be temporarily stored on a cloud service (e.g., Google Cloud) to enable functionality. These files:
* Are not connected to your identity
* Are not deleted automatically when you uninstall the app
* Can be deleted upon request
If you export image, it is handled locally on your device. No personal files are uploaded or accessed by us.
5. Face Data & Image Processing
Face does not collect, store, or retain face data.
When you use face analysis or editing features, images are processed temporarily to analyze non-identifying facial characteristics (such as visual features or proportions) and to apply user-requested edits.
Face data is processed only for the duration of the editing operation and is immediately discarded afterward.
We do not:
Create or store biometric identifiers
Perform face recognition
Identify users
Use face data for advertising, profiling, or analytics
Use face data to train AI models
6. Data Deletion
If you'd like your generated image or usage events to be removed from Google Cloud or Firebase, please contact us at:

Although you cannot access your anonymous ID, we may still identify and delete your data using internal logs and timestamps.
7. Third-Party Services
Face uses the following third-party services to provide its functionality:
* Nano Banana – third-party AI service used solely for real-time face editing
* Firebase by Google: For anonymous in-app usage tracking
* Google Cloud: For temporary storage of AI-generated image
Nano Banana processes images only to perform the requested editing task and does not store, retain, or reuse face data beyond the immediate processing session.
No personal data is processed or shared with third parties. We do not use advertising SDKs or any trackers.
8. Subscriptions & Billing
Face uses the App Store’s in-app purchase system for handling all subscription payments.
* We do not process, store, or access your payment or billing details.
* All transactions and billing information are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store privacy policies.
* You can cancel or manage your subscription through your Apple device settings.
