I'am currently Assistant Professor in Economic Policy (RTT) at the Department of Economics and Statistics “Cognetti de Martiis”, University of Turin, and fellow at the BRICK, Collegio Carlo Alberto. I'm a member of the Management Committee of the HighEst Lab for Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence and a former Research Affiliate at the ESSEC Business School in France.
I hold a PhD in Economics (University of Turin and Collegio Carlo Alberto) and I have been visiting researcher at the Spatial Dynamics Lab, University College Dublin, and at INGENIO [CSIC-UPV] in Valencia.
My research interests lie in the fields of Economics of Innovation, Environmental Innovation, Economics Geography and Network Analysis. More specifically, I am interested in the empirical analysis of the generation of new technological knowledge and innovations, and their impact on economic performances, at the technology, firm and regional level.
My research findings have been published in journals of international relevance, such as Research Policy, Economic Geography, Economics of Innovation and New Technology, Industrial and Corporate Change, Industry and Innovation, Regional Studies.. I'm also regularly active as referee for several international journals.
