Passing the Torch: A Journey Through Probability and Mathematical Physics with Fabio
The Gran Sasso Science Institute will host a conference in honor of Fabio Martinelli on the occasion of his seventieth birthday, from June 15 to June 18, 2026.
The meeting aims to bring together researchers from two vibrant areas of mathematics that are the heart of Fabio's research (*)—probability and mathematical physics— and to create a stimulating environment for scientific exchanges between early-career and senior researchers.
The conference will feature approximately fifteen invited talks showcasing recent advances in these fields and exploring their diverse applications, as well as open question sessions and free time for discussions.
We warmly welcome the participation of a broad audience, especially young researchers and PhD students.
