I have a very diverse interest in studying complex systems. Especially if ideas from statistical physics and network science can be used, but not exclusively.
My current projects:
Algorithms and regulation for socio-economic networks
We are currently looking at quantifying and understanding the role of algorithms in the opinion formation of users of online social media platforms. Importantly, we want to consider both official recommendation algorithms and unofficial ones. That is, algorithms interacting with users through fake social media accounts ("bots"). The main objective of this project is to detect statistically significant effects from the point of view of complex systems modeling (network theory, stochastic processes, etc...).
