From the open road to the dead of night!

FRANCE 500 MILES rally is not a motorcycle race, but a challenge to cover that distance – exactly 804 km – in under 24 hours, riding along the finest national and departmental roads in the South of France and beyond.

To preserve the spirit of adventure that made the "Défi des 999" such a success – and to ensure the thrill of discovery remains central to the experience – you will receive a road book at the start. You will need to stop at designated checkpoints to find out the next leg of the journey.

We recommend bringing a mobile phone so you can contact our support team for guidance if needed. Traditionalists might also want to pack a road map of the South of France region.

Part of the ride will take place at night; naturally, rest and refreshment areas will be set up along the route, allowing everyone to relax and fully savor these exceptional moments in the saddle.

There are no winners or losers in this 500-mile motorcycle challenge; instead, everyone who completes it will be properly celebrated upon arrival! Beyond the commemorative pin, the true reward is personal: the unique experience of riding day and night across unfamiliar roads and spectacular scenery, alongside friends who share the same passion for Harley-Davidson.
