Elias Doering is a pen and ink artist from the East Coast of the United States. They primarily work in black and white to make comics about the sea. Their work aims to depict liminality in scenes of hyper-industrialization and nature and question these spaces' impact on human psychology. He is heavily inspired by the natural shapes one finds within tidepools on rocky coasts.
His work has been featured in Carte Blanche Magazine, Scrivener Creative Review, The Veg Magazine, and others.
He also currently works as an animator and concept artist at Vellocet Software, working to develop visual storytelling in games.
