So, my actual name is not Ezy, lol, it's Erika. I am 30 years young, from Atlanta, GA. I have now been the full-time owner and operator of Ezy Events for 4 years.   Since a young girl, I've known Creativity was the job path for me. The beauty in being able to use your imagination, find inspiration from the littlest thing, create art by manipulating and staging decor in such a masterful way, event styling is the job for me. 

Event styling was never something I thought I'd be doing, as I sought creativity in many other avenues. I originally graduated high school, and went to a University and pursued Biology with hopes to become a doctor. As I reminisce on those days, I was seeking the riches more than the actual joy of the job.  It's not until you are an adult you realize, it's so much more important to enjoy what you do so it doesn't feel like work. 

After crazily deciding to decorate my own wedding in 2020, I knew this was the job of my dreams. Side Note: I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND decorating your own wedding. Not just because I am an event stylist and would love to take the burden off your hands, but because it's an actual burden. If you don't have ample set up time and breakdown time, you are literally taking away from your day.  Where you should be focusing on meeting your bride/groom at the end of the aisle, you are trying to do last minute final touches because you didn't realize things would take so long. Just a mess, lol.

Back on track, I decorated my own wedding in 2020, and decided to become a full time event stylist. Did i mention this was in the middle of a whole pandemic?! I trusted God and had faith, this was truly something i felt deep inside that I needed to pursue, I've never yearned for something so much. Also, I have two little ones, so it's so important to me to have flexibility for them.

I LOVE WHAT I DO. From planning to prepping to execution, this job gives me pure joy. To be apart of momentous occasions, and know that my hands helped that celebration come together, I couldn't be more honored. I love the growth, learning new things, meeting new people, exceeding clients expectations, taking art to a new level,  and continuing to build a brand that emulates greatness.
