EZGrader - OMR Exam Scanner Privacy Policy
Your privacy is extremely important to us. This Privacy Policy governs the EZGrader - OMR Exam Scanner mobile application (referred to as "the App") for Android devices.
The App is designed to function primarily offline. All data generated, including classroom data, exam keys, student scores, and scanned images, is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to external servers.
A. Camera Access
Purpose: The App requires camera access to capture and scan OMR exam sheets.
Usage: Images captured by the camera are processed in real-time in the device's volatile memory (RAM) to calculate scores.
Storage: Graded images are only saved to your device's local storage if you explicitly choose to save them to the grading history. No images are uploaded to the cloud or shared with third parties.
B. Storage Permissions
Purpose: The App requires access to local storage.
Usage: Used to save layout configurations, exam templates, classroom databases, and grading history (including saved images).
C. Network Access
Purpose: Used for optional internet services.
Usage: Required only for displaying advertisements (via Google AdMob) and processing in-app purchases (via Google Play Billing). If you upgrade to the PRO version, the App can run 100% offline with internet access completely disabled.
The App utilizes third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:
Google Play Services: Used for app updates and distribution.
Google AdMob: Used to display ads in the free version. AdMob may collect device advertising IDs to deliver personalized ads.
Google Play Billing: Used to securely process the PRO version upgrade.

Since all your data remains on your physical device, the security of your grading history, student names, and test results depends on the security of your smartphone. We recommend securing your device with a PIN, password, or biometric lock to prevent unauthorized access.
The App does not collect any personal information. Student names entered into the local database are stored only on the teacher's device. We do not collect, share, or store any personal data of children.
