PROFILE SUMMARY
I have extensive experience and a strong academic background in Materials Science and Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering with first-class honors from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi-Ghana, where I also worked as a research and teaching assistant.
My research interests span biomaterials, sustainable materials, computational materials, functional materials, nanomaterials, and energy materials. I have strong expertise in research, simulations, computer-aided engineering, numerical analysis, MATLAB, and computer-aided design (CAD). Over the years, I have collaborated with reputable scholars in metallurgy, mechanical, materials, and biomedical engineering, expanding my knowledge and research impact.
I have hands-on experience with advanced characterization techniques, including Raman spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), and more. I am highly motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence in every project I undertake. I thrive under pressure and am dedicated to meeting deadlines while delivering high-quality results with minimal supervision.
Currently, I am a PhD candidate at the Biomedical Engineering Department of Yonsei University, where I work as a teaching assistant and cross-disciplinary researcher. My research focuses on sensors, instrumentations, artificial intelligence, biomaterials, molecular dynamics simulations, finite element analysis, biomedical wearables, micro/nanofabrication, and additive manufacturing. I am actively involved in the development of high-performance sustainable sensors and energy harvesters for biomedical applications, micro/nanofabrication of biometric authentication devices, and 3D printing of novel bio-implantable systems.
Above all, I am driven by curiosity, innovation, and a deep commitment to advancing science and technology for the benefit of society.
