The EyeLight Lab focuses on the sight-threatening eye disorders (STEDs) in disadvantaged populations, be they whole economic regions or marginalized groups within otherwise prosperous nations, with a preference for the following topics: low vision and blindness; neonatal, child, and adolescent eye health; public eye-health systems; and global eye-health policy.
Technologies and methods
The EyeLight Lab is primarily a biomedical informatic group that uses statistical and genomic methods.
Collaborators
We work with closely with numerous collaborators at Seoul National University (SNU), Jeju National University (JejuNU), Kyungnam University (KU), Kyung Hee University (KHU), Kookmin University (KMU), Trinity Biomedical Science Institute (Trinity College Dublin, TCD), and Mater Misericordiae University Hospital (University College Dublin, UCD).
