Notice to NSF-Sponsored Conference Participants
This workshop is supported by the National Science Foundation under Award Number #2400107.
We are required by the NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide to provide all event participants with information on the Colorado School of Mines’ (Mines) policy on sexual and other forms of harassment or sexual assault as well as directions on how to report any violations of this policy. For the purposes of this requirement, 'other forms of harassment' are defined as 'non-gender or non-sex-based harassment of individuals protected under federal civil rights laws, as set forth in organizational policies or codes of conduct, statutes, regulations, or executive orders.'
Mines is committed to inclusivity and access for all persons and strives to create learning and workplace environments that exclude all forms of unlawful discrimination, harassment and retaliation. Mines commitment to non-discrimination on the basis of sex is reflected in the administration of its policies, procedures, programs, and activities. Mines prohibits discrimination and harassment on the basis of age, ancestry, creed, marital status, race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex (including Gender Based Stalking, Intimate Partner Violence, Non-Consensual Sexual Contact, Non- Consensual Penetration, Sexual Exploitation, and Sexual Harassment), pregnant and parenting status, gender, gender identity, gender expression, disability, sexual orientation, genetic information, veteran status, or military service within any of its education programs or activities (including admissions and employment). This prohibition applies to all students, employees, contractors, visitors, and volunteers.
