Note:- You must have the paid version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, otherwise you cannot extract images.
Open the desired PDF file or the file from which you want to extract images.
Now on the right side of the tool toolbar, click on the “Export” option.
Click on the dropdown option of “Export PDF” and you will get "Convert to" option.
Further click on the drop down option and select “JPEG (.jpg)” as the output category.
Select the desired Image Quality, also check on the box stating “Export all images”
Finally click on "Convert" option.
Method 2- Use the Snapshot Tool
If you want to extract only a few images then you can go with the Snapshot Tool. It is an inbuilt tool provided by Windows, by this tool you can take the screenshot of the current screen.
Open the desired PDF in Adobe Reader DC
Further click on “Edit” then click on the “Snapshot” option to extract images from PDF file.
Now hold the left click button of the mouse and drag a rectangle around the areas that you want to copy. Now release the button and choose the location where you want to save the image.
Then press the “Esc” key to take an exit from Snapshot mode
This method is best if you have few images, however, if you want to extract multiple images from a PDF file then you have to take a snapshot every time. Hence, we can also say that this method becomes ineffective in the case of bulk extraction.
