How will this project be funded?

The city council has approved their intention to put 1.2 million dollars towards this project and the remainder will be funded by donations from generous people like yourself.

Why do we need this?

Our baseball and softball recreation programs enroll approximately 300 kids (nearly ⅓ of our entire student body) every year. Currently, we share two fields among the 25 registered teams. With such limited field space, our teams continuously battle to fit in practice time on regulation fields. The t-ball and coach pitch levels do not have opportunities to play on an actual ball diamond, and all levels played the majority of their games away because we were unable to accommodate more than two teams playing at home.

To sustain solid outdoor athletic programs, these teams need adequate field space. Constructing a complex will allow us to host league games for all ages with the possibility of scheduling home tournaments. Not only would this enhance the experience for our ball players, but it would create a complex equipped with restrooms and concessions for our families and guests.

Why is this important?

Building a new complex provides the necessary environment to build the foundational skills of our future athletes. Without quality field space, our youth are unable to master the proper techniques of the game. The complex would also open up the opportunity to bring in more visitors resulting in increased revenues for our community.

How can I help?
