Welcome to the Activities Hub

Welcome Class 1J! Today, we will be learning about the fascinating world of living and non-living things. Our lesson will start with an engaging YouTube video that introduces these concepts and shows examples of each. After watching the video, we'll go on an exciting observation walk around the school grounds to spot different plants and animals, using our observation sheets to record what we see. We'll then come back to the classroom and share our discoveries in group presentations, describing the external features of the living things we observed. Finally, we'll wrap up our lesson by reflecting on our learning in our science journals, writing about one interesting feature and why it is important for the organism. Throughout our activities, we’ll use scientific vocabulary, engage in thoughtful discussions, and have fun exploring the natural world around us!
