You are usually taken to a download page when you click the invite link to a Zoom meeting through an email client. The Join From Web extension will always show you how to join a conference through your web browser.

Figured there are people out there going back to recorded lectures to refresh topics (or learn an entire course ;]) I wish I found this in April 2020, but instead it was only today that I thought this must be possible...sooo here it is: you can playback Zoom recordings basically as fast as you want with a Chrome extension called Video Speed Controller (I have zero affiliation)

It took like 10 min to get used to listening at 3.5x and you can speed up/slow down by just pressing designated keys (S = .1 slower; D = .1 faster; R = back to 1.0; G = preferred speed you choose in the extension's settings).

Currently, You cannot choose to record calls made only to External ( PSTN ) vs internal extensions only though. I suggest, this setting if the call is internal so members can turn off Automatic recording during internal calls made as a Call Queue member.

 How do I enable automatic transcriptions within my meeting?

A ZOOM file is a Zoom meeting recording that has not yet been converted to an .MP4 file. It contains video, audio, or text data recorded through Zoom. ZOOM files are typically named double_click_to_convert_##.zoom.

Zoom typically creates three ZOOM files per meeting, which are named double_click_to_convert_01.zoom, double_click_to_convert_02.zoom, and double_click_to_convert_03.zoom. These files, respectively, contain a meeting's video, command and text, and audio data. As you may have already guessed, you can double-click any ZOOM file to have Zoom begin converting the file's (and its siblings') contents.
