By enrolling in any baking or snack-making program offered by Exquisite Culinary Classes, all applicants, in participants, and attendees agree to strictly adhere to the following Terms and Conditions, including all food safety, cleaning, and operational protocols.
2. Specialized Baking & Snacking Hygiene Mandates:
Due to the delicate nature of pastry, dough preparation, deep-frying, and confectionery work, hygiene and station discipline are mandatory. Every participant must agree to and execute the required cleaning processes before, during, and after every class:
Pre-Class Hygiene (Before):
- Hand Washing & Prep: Participants must thoroughly scrub hands and forearms with anti-bacterial soap for at least 20 seconds prior to touching flour, dough, or batter ingredients.
- Attire & Hair Control: Hair must be fully tied back or covered with a hairnet. Rings, watches, and dangling jewelry must be removed to prevent food contamination and equipment entanglement. Clean aprons and closed-toe shoes are required.
- Personal Belongings: Bags, coats, and cell phones are strictly prohibited on food preparation counters and must remain in designated storage.
In-Class Station Management (During):
- "Clean-As-You-Go"" Standard: Workstations, rolling pins, pastry boards, and mixers must be wiped down continuously to prevent cross-contamination, flour build-up, and sticky residue.
- Tool Sanitation: Separate utensils and bowls must be used when handling raw egg mixtures, dairy, and cooked or finished baked goods.
- Safety Protocols: Extreme care must be taken around hot ovens, melted sugar, and frying oil. Spills must be reported and cleaned immediately to prevent slipping hazards.
Post-Class Breakdown & Restoration (After):
- Station Cleanup: Each participant must fully clean and sanitize their baking station, including counter surfaces, stovetops, ovens, and mixing gear.
- Equipment Care: All baking tins, measuring tools, piping tips, and bowls must be washed, dried, and returned to their proper storage locations.
- Waste Disposal: Excess dough scraps, packaging materials, and food waste must be properly sorted into designated trash and recycling bins.
3. Food Safety, Ingredients & Allergens:
Baking and snacking classes frequently utilize common food allergens, including nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, and soy. Participants are responsible for informing instructors of any severe food allergies prior to the start of class.
Ingredients provided by Exquisite Culinary Classes are strictly for use within the designated class recipes unless explicit permission is given by the instructor.
4. Health & Medical Compliance:
Participants suffering from infectious illnesses, skin infections, respiratory symptoms, or gastrointestinal issues must refrain from attending.
Any cuts or abrasions must be fully bandaged and covered with disposable gloves before handling any food or baking equipment.
