JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide patient care to non-emergent patients while in your care

ENTRY LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS

• Texas Certification
• CPR Certification
• Texas Driver's License
• Pass IM training
• Pass driving training

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide basic patient care during transport
• Operating an emergency vehicle
• Inspecting vehicle daily
• Cleaning and restocking emergency vehicle with medical supplies

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Ability to make accurate assessments
• Ability to develop a plan and respond effectively
• Ability to read maps
• Ability to work effectively
• Ability to work with others efficiently
• Ability to work in stressful situation(medical situations)
• Ability to remain calm during medical situations
• Ability to appear in clean presentable attire
• Ability to present a professional caring
• Ability to work in all weather conditons
• Knowledge to read maps
• Knowledge of pre-hospital protocols

WORKING CONDITIONS

12, 10, and 8 hour shifts operate around the clock. Shifts are assigned 7 days a week via availability.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

• Driving for long periods of time
• Frequently lifting 150 pounds or more including with or without stretcher
• Pushing, pulling and carrying medical equipment
• Balancing, kneeling, reaching, bending, twisting, lifting, walking, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $13.00 /hour
