Dr. Kshitij Tiwari, received his Bachelors in Electronic and Communication Engineering from the University of Hong Kong, HKSAR in 2013. He then obtained a M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, where he specialized in Intelligent Robotics. In order to amalgamate the hardware and software expertise acquired thus far, he pursued a Ph.D. from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), Japan where he focused on Multi-robot Systems that can be deployed for Environmental Monitoring situations. As of date, he is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Intelligent Robotics Group, Aalto University, Finland where he focuses on Neuronavigation and Biologically Inspired Robotics. His research interests are in path planning under uncertainty, multi-robot systems, neurorobotics and applied Machine Learning.
