South America is fourth largest continents on Planet Earth. It is the fifth on the world population list with 422.5 million in 2016. In South America over twelve sovereign country: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Other than that, South America has a various plant and animal species, they have unique biodiversiti amoung other continent.

South of the Tropic of Capricorn and in the middle of the Andes mountains.
Arid
Arid climates can only be found in deserts, beach area, and outback throughout South America.
Cold
Cold area climates happen in the southern end of Argentina and Chile and the highest area of the Andes.

Other than that, there were high criminal cases specially in Brazil. They will ask your money, if you don't have one they might kill you.
After that, Traveling between countries takes lot of time and expensive for flying.
