Explore mathematics from Kindergarden to high school
Discover with "deci" the dolfin "centi"the clown and "milli" the mouse and all my other characters our system of units in our mathematical world. Children can start at the age of three and measure for example their height by building a tower with bricks (1m, 10cm and 1cm long). Weigh with 1g, 10g and 100g weights and fill your 1ml, 10ml 100ml cups for measure volume. Even there are simple tricks to read the clock and count money. There is so much to explore, when you are able to measure lenghts, volume, weight and more in our decimal system. The characters help recognize and start with the letter of the unitprename.
I am a high school teacher for mathematics an PE in Germany, taught early childhoodteachers and at a primary school, too. So I built up a system from Kindergarden to high school to discover maths instead of beeing taught step by step.
