You'll want to do your own research on GPTs for your use. Some of the data below might be out of date as AI is constantly improving and businesses are constantly changing their plans. Here's a few I've used.
ChatGPT (aka OpenAI)- Used the paid service for 1 month, used the free version regularly before/after the 1 month paid.
Allows for free image development (Dall-E3), but limits how many you can generate daily (Paid has no limit, as far as I know)
Keeps a running memory of you, selecting what it thinks is important.
Allows you to see what is saved and remove parts.
Allows you to specify how you want it to respond to you.
Allows you to provide a short bio so you feed it important information about you.
Check out the OpenAI Article "Teaching with AI" which includes useful prompts for lesson planning.
iPhone app lets you live-chat (Chat while you drive!)
Loads of AI Models (including SORA - video generator)
Microsoft 365 Copilot - My district pays for Microsoft 365 - Update - Copilot is no longer part of our Miscrosoft 360 plan in SKPS 8(
Allows free image development (Dall-E3), but often prevents image development if your prompt is considered breaking its "Designer Code of Conduct". The designer code of conduct is different from ChatGPT's (even though they're using the same AI Model), as the version I was using would not allow you to generate images that used famous people's names or showed weapons of any kind.
No running memory of you. All conversations are self-contained with a restriction to 30 prompts.
No matter how long you use it, it will not know anything about you (unless it's pulling from online resources)
Update: As of March 2025 this limit seems to have been removed and Copilot now can learn about you, at least if you're logged in.
Google Gemini - Similar to Copilot & ChatGPT
Wide range of things you can do with it.
Free image generation tool (Imagen 3) - I personally don't think it stands up to Dall-E3, but I have also used it less.
iPhone app lets you live-chat (Chat while you drive!)
Build your own Gems (AI models based off of content you feed it)
Canva
Curipod - Develop AI generated Lessons & interactive Slideshows.
Slides allow users to draw, vote, answer quiz questions, etc. and display results.
Some questions can receive AI feedback to help students get immediate feedback.
Lots of potential, but might be better for topics where students have some level of knowledge already.
Eduaide AI - Seems more like a broad lesson planning AI agent that doesn't get into the nitty-gritty, but helps you broadly tailor your lesson plan to a specific educational model (SPARK, 5E's, Gagne's 9 of Instruction, Differentiation, etc.)
Adobe Express
So many more!
