So, you've mastered the techniques of remote bypassing, eh? What if that snitch that sits behind you sees you? What if the teacher is checking work, sees your screen, and asks you what that tab is? Alt Tabbing is here to save the day! I typically separate my chrome windows. Press control and n to open a new window, and then have your tasks separate. To switch back and forth, press alt-tab to cycle between them. You can have one view-safe window, (With school work and the school web page, stuff that is safe for the teacher to see) and one window for games and other unblocked stuff. Now you can't get caught remotely or in person!
Use the service lobby.game. If you sign up and share your friend link with your friends you can chat with them. If this service is blocked you can also use padlet, and make a stream pad and chat on there. If that is also blocked you can make a google document to talk to your friends on. I recommend disguising it as a notes document so moderation software like Dyknow or GoGuardian will have a harder time blocking it.
Disclaimer: This exploit is buggy and doesn't always work.
Open any proxy, preferably Ultraviolet since it is the fastest. Search for free web proxies on google (I use proxysite.com), they should be unblocked because you're using Ultraviolet. Use the proxy inside of Ultraviolet to do everything, and you will get rid of the safe search, and any website blocks your district does through the network.
Go to the wallpaper app, and go to any category except “My Images”. Click on the change daily button (will change your background) Download the image you want as a background and move it to your downloads folder under "My Files". Go to the “My Images” tab and scroll down, then click on the image you want.
Click on the puzzle piece button in the top right of your screen (extensions tab). Click the pin next to the Dyknow extension, and it should show up next to the puzzle piece. Click on the Dyknow logo and you will see three boxes. Click on all three of the boxes. If they all turn and stay green, your teacher is on Dyknow. If they go back to white or a transparent green, your teacher is not watching you on Dyknow. Keep in mind that the boxes will stay green as long as your teacher has the Dyknow tab open, so they may not be looking on Dyknow at that exact moment.
Copy the link you want to go to, and enter that link into the search bar of your Chromebook, then stop. Do Search + ESC to open up the task manager, and find the Securly (the s icon) task. Right click on Securly, and very quickly end the task and press enter to open the webpage that you entered into the search bar, and you should be into the blocked website. Repeat for each blocked site you want to open.
Press escape, reload, and power. You will see a recovery screen. When on this screen, press control d, and press enter. When your chromebook turns back on, there are two possibilities:
If your chromebook just reboots normally, then you are in developer mode! You can use linux tools and much more. Your school has not blocked it, and your data and search history have also been cleared!
If you get a screen saying that OS Verification is OFF and you need to turn it back on, your school has disabled developer mode and you can't use linux tools. To get back, press enter, and then wait for it to reboot. Go through chromebook setup, and your chromebookhas been reset, but you will likely still have it be managed by an admin.
