Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (EULA) for Expiry Reminder

Please read these Terms of Use and End User License Agreement carefully before downloading, installing, or using Expiry Reminder (the “App” or “Service”).
This is a legal agreement between you and Muhammad Ahmad (“we”, “us”, “our”), the developer of Expiry Reminder.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the App.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use Expiry Reminder on devices that you own or control, subject to these terms and the applicable rules of the platform through which the App is distributed.
This licence does not transfer ownership of the App to you.
You may not:
• Copy, modify, translate, or create derivative works of the App, except where permitted by applicable law
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except where applicable law expressly permits it
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App
• Remove or obscure copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Use the App to build a competing product or service
• Circumvent technical restrictions or security measures
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its supporting services
You agree to use Expiry Reminder only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
You must not:
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any related system or service
• Reverse engineer or modify the App except where permitted by applicable law
• Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service
• Use automated methods to interfere with the normal operation of the App
We may restrict or terminate access to the Service if you materially violate these terms.
Expiry Reminder is provided as a tool to help users manage and keep track of expiry-related information.
The App is intended to assist with reminders and organization. You are responsible for entering accurate information and checking important dates yourself.
The App should not be considered a substitute for your own records, professional advice, official notices, or legally required systems.
We do not guarantee that every reminder, notification, or feature will always operate without interruption or error.
4. Information and Third-Party Services
Expiry Reminder may use third-party services, including Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
These services may process limited technical, usage, analytics, or diagnostic information according to their respective terms and privacy policies.
Your use of the App may therefore also be subject to the applicable terms and policies of these third-party service providers.
Expiry Reminder, including its name, design, software, interface, visual elements, and original content created by us, is owned by Muhammad Ahmad or its applicable licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited licence granted in these terms, no ownership or other rights in the App are transferred to you.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit the App or its proprietary components without permission, except where applicable law permits such use.
6. Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time.
We may also release updates to improve functionality, security, compatibility, or performance.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be available or that every feature will remain available indefinitely.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Expiry Reminder is provided “as is” and “as available”.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or accurate.
We do not guarantee that notifications, reminders, analytics, or other features will operate without interruption or failure.
You are responsible for maintaining your own records and verifying important expiry dates.
Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Muhammad Ahmad shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from or relating to your use of Expiry Reminder.
This includes, where legally permitted, loss of data, profits, revenue, business opportunities, or other losses resulting from missed, delayed, incorrect, or failed reminders or notifications.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App or Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
These terms remain effective while you use Expiry Reminder.
You may terminate this agreement at any time by stopping use of the App and deleting it from your device.
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you materially violate these terms or misuse the Service.
After termination, you must stop using the App.
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute relating to Expiry Reminder shall be subject to the applicable courts of Pakistan, except where applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
These Terms of Use and EULA, together with the Privacy Policy for Expiry Reminder, constitute the agreement between you and us regarding your use of the App.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date.
Your continued use of Expiry Reminder after updated terms become effective means that you accept the revised terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
