During this presentations, Marcela Rada and Jeanine Cowen will do an overview of video production using an Insta360 Pro camera. Shooting techniques will be explored as well as video editing software. They will also touch on how to incorporate 2D videos into Unity to create immersive/interactive 3D environments.

Daniel Goggin will be showcasing Derivative Touchdesigner as a powerful tool for interactive multimedia production. He will be covering some notable examples from inside and outside his own portfolio and afterwards he will show a demo on how TouchDesigner can be used for tracking using webcams and Kinect sensors to drive video, audio and lighting. (Note: It is HIGHLY recommended that any students working with laptops who want to start working with TouchDesigner bring a 3 button mouse as this makes the interface much MUCH easier to navigate.)

In this session, BerkleeNYC faculty Loudon Stearns will present a breakdown of a quadraphonic live electronic performance setup. We will explore how the popular live performance and production software Ableton Live can be customized to facilitate working with multichannel audio, particularly in tandem with Max For Live devices created by the immersive audio community, such as Envelop for Live (E4L) by Envelop SF and Stretta Inspiration Tools by stretta (Matthew Davidson).

Gamestage is a completely new technical system for interconnecting all of the aspects of a live performance through the use of a video game engine. In this example, lights, sound and video can all respond immediately to harmonic decisions made on the spot by musicians on stage, but as you will see, the possibilities are endless!
