# Data Deletion Policy

This page explains how you can request the deletion of your data from the Expense Tracker Plus mobile application.
## Your Data is Stored Locally
Expense Tracker Plus is designed to be a private and secure application. All of the data you generate while using the app, including your transactions, budgets, categories, and any other personal information, is stored exclusively on your own device. We do not have access to your data, and it is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
## How to Delete Your Data
Because all of your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. To delete your data, please follow these steps within the app:
**Using the In-App Feature:**
1. Navigate to the **Settings** screen in the app.
2. Select the **"Help"** Screen.
3. Find and tap on the **"Delete my data"** button.
4. Confirm that you want to permanently delete all of your data.
2. **Through Device Settings (Alternative Method):**
Go to your device's **Settings**.
Navigate to **Apps** (or "Apps & notifications").
Find and select **"Expense Tracker Plus"**.
Go to **Storage** and tap **"Clear Data"** (or "Clear storage").
Alternatively, simply **uninstalling the app** from your device will also remove all associated local data.
**Please be aware that this action is irreversible.** Once you confirm, all of your data will be permanently erased from your device.
