Terms of Use
Thank you for using Daily Expense Monitor ("we," "our," or "us"). We're committed to improving and producing innovative products to bring the best value to you. These terms of service apply to Daily Expense Monitor mobile application.
By using Daily Expense Monitor, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree to these Terms, do not use our app. If you are using our products on behalf of an organization (such as your employer), you are agreeing to these Terms for that organization, and are indicating that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In that case, "you" and "your" will refer to that organization.
IMPORTANT: Daily Expense Monitor stores all data locally on your device only. We do not have any servers and do not collect any personal information.
Auto Renewing Subscriptions:
• Subscribed user has unlimited access to premium features including advanced charts, analytics, CSV export, and unlimited expense entries
• Free user can track expenses with basic features and limited categories per day
• Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal
• Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable
MONTHLY PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION: $0.99 per month
Free Trial
If a free trial is offered:
• Free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the trial period ends
• You can cancel the subscription during the trial period without being charged
• After the trial period, you will be charged the full subscription price
Subscription Management
• You can manage your subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
• To cancel a subscription, go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions
• Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds will be provided for unused portions of the subscription period
General Prohibitions
You agree not to do—or attempt to do—any of the following:
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any Daily Expense Monitor system or network or breach any security or authentication measures
• Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of Daily Expense Monitor, Daily Expense Monitor's computer systems, or the technical delivery systems of Daily Expense Monitor's providers
• Decipher, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer any of the software used to provide Daily Expense Monitor
• Interfere with, or attempt to interfere with, the access of any user, host or network, including sending a virus, overloading, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing Daily Expense Monitor
• Access or search Daily Expense Monitor or download any intellectual property from Daily Expense Monitor through the use of any engine, software, tool, agent, device or mechanism (including spiders, robots, crawlers, data mining tools or the like) other than our publicly supported interfaces
• Plant malware or use Daily Expense Monitor to distribute malware
• Send any unsolicited communications, promotions, advertisements or spam
• Send altered, deceptive or false source-identifying information, including "spoofing" or "phishing"
• Post or transmit anything that is fraudulent or misleading, or that infringes on others' rights
• Impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Violate the privacy of others
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Encourage or enable any other individual to do any of the above
Although we're not obligated to monitor access to or use of Daily Expense Monitor or your content, we have the right to do so for the purpose of operating Daily Expense Monitor, to ensure compliance with these Terms, or to comply with applicable law or other legal requirements.
Privacy and Data
Daily Expense Monitor follows a strict no-data collection policy:
• All expense data is stored locally on your device only using Core Data
• We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers
• We do not share your financial data with third parties (we have no data to share)
• Your privacy is protected by design since we cannot access your device
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device
• You can export your data as CSV files for backup if needed
Limitation of Liability
• Our app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not responsible for any financial decisions made based on the app's data
• We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our app
• Your use of the app is at your own risk
DMCA/Copyright Policy
We respect copyright law and expect you to do the same. It's our policy to terminate those accounts that repeatedly infringe or are believed to be repeatedly infringing the rights of copyright holders.
Since Daily Expense Monitor stores all data locally, copyright issues would primarily relate to the app itself rather than user-generated content.
