Open the app and go to the About tab. You'll see the trial countdown and an Unlock Forever button. Tap it to make a one-time purchase that unlocks all features permanently — no subscription, no recurring charges.

Tap Restore on the About screen (top-right corner). This restores your purchase using your Apple ID. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase.

You get a full 15-day free trial with access to every feature. No credit card is required. After 15 days, you can unlock the app permanently with a one-time purchase, or continue using it in read-only mode for free.

All your data is stored locally on your device. If you enable Auto-Backup in Settings, the app also saves JSON backups to your personal iCloud Drive (visible in Files → iCloud Drive → Expense Logger → Backups). Your data never goes to any third-party server.

If iCloud Backup is enabled, your data will restore automatically when you set up your new device. Alternatively, export your data as CSV or Excel from the Stats screen and import it on the new device.

Go to Settings → Import and select your CSV from the Files app. A preview will be shown before anything is saved, so you can confirm everything looks right first.

When adding a transaction, toggle on Repeating and choose your frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or custom). You can also set a reminder notification 1, 2, 3, or 7 days before the transaction is due.

Long-press your home screen → tap + → search for Expense Logger → add the widget. If data still doesn't appear, try removing and re-adding the widget. Make sure the app has been opened at least once after install.

Just say "Log expense in Expense Logger", "Add expense in Expense Logger", or "Record expense in Expense Logger". Siri will ask for the amount, category, and account. This feature requires the app to be unlocked.

Expense Logger supports 15 currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, INR, JPY, NZD, CHF, CNY, SEK, NOK, DKK, HKD, and SGD. You can change your currency in Settings.

Yes — completely. Expense Logger works fully offline. No internet connection is ever required.

Use the widget for quick balance checks and to add transactions without even opening the app — just tap the + button on the widget.
