Expense Counter does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app works entirely offline. All expense records you enter are saved only on your own device, in a local database. Nothing is ever sent to us, to app stores, or to any third party.
Expense Counter ("the App") is developed by Nippun Shrestha ("we", "our", "us"). This policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.
We do not collect any information. Specifically, the App:
Does not require you to create an account or sign in
Does not collect your name, email, location, or contact details
Does not use analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs
Does not contain ads
Does not request Internet access or any network permission
Does not transmit data anywhere, because the App has no server
The App lets you record expense amounts, categories, optional notes, dates, and a preferred display currency. This information is:
Stored only in a local database (SQLite via Android's Room library) and local app preferences — both live entirely on your device
Never uploaded, synced, or backed up to any cloud service by the App itself
Only accessible to you, on your device, within the App
If your device has Android's automatic backup enabled at the system level, your device manufacturer's or Google's backup service (not this App) may include app data in your personal device backups, subject to your own device or Google account settings — the App does not control or initiate this.
The App does not request the Internet permission or any other sensitive runtime permission (such as camera, contacts, location, or storage access).
Because all data is stored locally, you can:
Delete individual expense entries at any time within the App
Erase all App data at once via Android Settings → Apps → Expense Counter → Storage → Clear Data
Permanently delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the App
The App does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
If this policy is updated in the future (for example, if a feature that uses data is added), the "Last updated" date above will be revised and the new policy published at this same address.
