Expense Buddy (“the app”) is designed to help users track expenses, analyze spending patterns, and export expense reports. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Expense Buddy does not require account registration and does not collect personally identifiable information such as name, email address, phone number, or payment details.
The app allows users to manually enter expense-related information, including:
Expense amount
Expense category
Date of expense
Notes (if added by the user)
All expense data is stored locally on the user’s device only.
All data entered into Expense Buddy remains on your device
The app does not upload, sync, or back up data to any external servers
The developer does not have access to your expense data
The app allows users to export expense data as PDF reports.
PDF files are generated locally on the device
Exported files are stored only where the user chooses
The app does not transmit exported files to any server
Expense Buddy does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools that collect user data.
If system components such as Google Play Services are present on the device, their data handling is governed by their own privacy policies.
Reasonable measures are taken to ensure that your locally stored data remains secure on your device. However, please note that no method of electronic storage is completely secure.
Expense Buddy does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected, the app is safe for general use.
