This Privacy Policy describes how our Expense Manager app ("the App") handles your information.
1. DATA COLLECTION & STORAGE
All data you enter into the App, including expense records, category details, receipts, attachments, members, and PIN configurations, is stored LOCALLY on your device in a private SQLite database. No personal data is transmitted, uploaded, or synced to any external servers, third-party databases, or cloud services.Â
2. DEVICE PERMISSIONS
The App requests specific device permissions to support its core features:
- Camera: Used only when you choose to take photos of receipts or invoices to attach to an expense.
- Media/Photos: Used only to select existing receipt images or documents from your photo library.
These files are processed locally and are not shared or sent anywhere.
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App does not use any third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or telemetry SDKs. Your usage data remains completely private on your device.
4. SECURITY
Your data security depends entirely on the physical security of your mobile device and your lock screen configurations. You can optionally enable the "Admin PIN" feature in the App's settings to protect your expense records from unauthorized deletions.
