Endeavor Flight 5 lifted off at 12:35pm CT from LC-1 at the Matagorda Space Center. At T-50 seconds, We held for final checkouts and ensuring everything on the pad and rocket were go. Endeavor Lifted off from the pad with all 7 engines. The rockets ascent went as planned with no issues. Both Stage one and Stage two separated just a little after 3 minutes into the flight.

After stage separation. The booster executed its boostback burn to return back to the droneship "The Chances Are Never Zero".  Stage one then started its descent back towards the gulf  and executed a re-entry burn with 3 engines just 6 minutes into the launch.

During the landing burn. We observed a Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly or RUD and the booster was lost at T+7:48 endings its mission early. The goal for the booster was to make it as far as we could. Both workers and the droneship were unharmed during the RUD and is expected to return to the gulf for flight 6.

Stage Two successfully entered orbit and relight its engine for SES-2.

Both CSA and Expedition Aerospace confirm the payloads were separated and communication with all 3 satellites are underway.

Both Pad and HIF were checked and are ready for the next round of testing in a few weeks.

Flight 5 demonstrated the capability of Endeavor Version 2. We expect Flight 6 to occur around Mid July.
