Strategic Exoplanet Initiatives with HST and JWST
Initiative Overview
The Space Telescope Science Institute’s Interim Director, Nancy Levenson, has decided to constitute a Working Group to provide advice and recommendations on how HST and JWST observations can best be leveraged to investigate exoplanet systems. The Exoplanet Strategy WG is charged with providing guidance on optimal strategies for maximizing the scientific return from HST and JWST spectroscopic and imaging observations of planetary systems.

Community participation on the initiative was open to the community, and was coordinated via the Exoplanet Strategy Working Group. Participation opportunities included:
Consider submitting brief white papers to provide advice and recommendations on how JWST and HST observations can best be leveraged to investigate exoplanet systems.
Consider submitting advice and recommendations to the working group through quick anonymized written responses
Consider attending one of three Town Halls to engage directly with the Working Group members and get your questions answered.
