Respect for all identities
We value and respect all members of our community, regardless of their identity, background, or role at the conference. We seek to accommodate and support all attendees, including their diverse identities such as, but not limited to:

Professional and empathetic communication
We expect all communication, whether written, verbal, or non-verbal, to be appropriate for a professional and diverse audience. We encourage kindness, respect, and empathy in all interactions. Discrimination, exclusionary behavior, or harassment in any form will not be tolerated.
Prohibited behaviors
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited at all conference venues, online platforms, and related events:
Insults, slurs, or offensive jokes
Bullying or intimidation
Microaggressions and negative stereotyping
Refusing to use names or pronouns as provided
Any other acts that demean or exclude others based on their identity
Encouraging open and constructive dialogue
We value diverse perspectives and encourage thoughtful, open communication. Attendees should engage in constructive and respectful discussions, always striving to understand others' viewpoints.
Continuous improvement
The Exohost research workshop LOC/SOC is committed to continually learning and adapting to the needs of our community. We actively seek feedback to improve and better serve all attendees.
If you experience or witness breaches of the code of conduct, please contact any member of the LOC. They can be recognised at the meeting through via their name badges.Â
