BIOGRAPHY

Exodia was formed in Valencia in 2009, initially being a band more focused on heavy metal, but gradually evolving towards a harder and thrash metal sound, with influences such as Megadeth, Metallica, Arch Enemy, Kreator, Lamb Of God, Machine Head, Overkill, and Slayer. What characterizes Exodia is their ability to seamlessly blend thrash metal with other styles.

In 2010, they recorded their first underground demo, receiving positive reviews. The band continued to perform nationally, gaining recognition for their impressive shows. In 2011, they entered the studio to record their first album. The record label Art Gates Records expressed interest in the band and offered them a record deal, which the band signed for their debut album, titled 'Slow Death,' released on April 2, 2012.

This marked a significant leap in both quality and impact, establishing the band as one of the leading thrash metal acts on a national level and garnering critical acclaim in specialized media. In the summer of 2013, they entered the Resurrección Band Contest and were one of the three winners, earning a slot to perform at the Resurrección Fest alongside other renowned bands such as Slayer, Lamb of God, Trivium, Bad Religion, and more.

In January 2014, they released their second LP, this time self-produced. This album marked a significant milestone, demonstrating a greater musical maturity. It was a more direct, thrashier, and elaborated record, receiving very positive reviews and a warm reception from their fans.

Throughout 2015, they continued their tour to promote the album, including a summer mini-tour with Death Angel and another with Exumer, in addition to performing at festivals like Rock Arena and Acordes de Rock.

In 2016, the band decided to disband for personal reasons unrelated to the group. After a long hiatus, in 2023, they made a strong and enthusiastic comeback with a new album . With this release, the band took a step closer to a more personal style and introduced new nuances
