Exocoffee is an event which strives to include researchers from different fields connected to the topic of exoplanets. In that spirit, attending Exocoffee should be a pleasant experience for everyone, regardless of the attendees’ race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity and gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, age, or disability.
Some rules:
For discussions after the presentations: please be kind! Critique ideas, not people.
The organizers do not tolerate harassment in any form, including sexist, racist, or other derogatory comments or jokes. Additionally, any inappropriate behavior that disrupts the meeting will not be accepted.
Sexual language and imagery is inappropriate for all interactions during the meeting, such as presentations and their discussion. This also holds for commenting on presentations and discussions via social media.
Exocoffee participants who do not adhere to these rules will be asked to stop any inappropriate behavior. Such participants are expected to comply immediately. Otherwise they will be blocked from further attendance of Exocoffee at the discretion of the organizers.
If you have any issues with an Exocoffee participant or an invited speaker, please do not hesitate to contact the organizers - we want to make sure that all participants feel safe and welcome, and will do our best to ensure such an environment.
