If you want a rugged, wired pair of over-ear headphones specifically designed for high-volume distribution in noisy environments like construction sites, choose EXMAX HWE-05; if you need a compact, wireless Bluetooth 6.0 adapter to transform any standard audio jack into a modern streaming source, choose Risegens 6.0.
These two products occupy entirely different corners of the audio market, and comparing them directly is only useful if you are trying to decide between buying a dedicated headphone unit versus a connectivity bridge. The EXMAX HWE-05 is a physical headset built for comfort and passive noise isolation, while the Risegens 6.0 is a small transmitter/receiver dongle that enables wireless audio from older devices. For construction work, where durability and immediate sound access are critical, the choice depends on whether your priority is wearing a dedicated headset or converting an existing device into a wireless one.
• EXMAX HWE-05: Offers plush, over-ear comfort with a lightweight design (50g) and passive noise cancellation via soft cushions; its trade-off is that it is a wired unit limited by a 120 cm cord and not intended for long-term heavy-duty wear. Best for: Teams needing disposable or semi-disposable headsets for schools, hotels, or short-duration site monitoring.
• Risegens 6.0: Delivers modern Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity with aptX HD support and dual-link capability in a tiny aluminum-plastic shell; its trade-off is that it is just an adapter, requiring you to already own compatible headphones or speakers to function. Best for: Professionals who need to stream audio wirelessly from TVs, cars, or gym equipment without replacing their entire audio setup.
The EXMAX HWE-05 is engineered as a practical, over-the-ear solution for environments where distributing audio gear to multiple people is necessary. Its primary strength lies in its physical design, which features soft leatherette ear cushions and a padded foam interior meant to cradle the ears. This design provides passive noise cancellation, creating a seal that minimizes ambient distractions—a feature that is particularly valuable when you need to focus on instructions or music amidst background chatter. At just 50 grams, these headphones are incredibly light, reducing fatigue during short listening sessions.

This product fits best in scenarios where you have a fleet of devices or need to equip many individuals quickly. The adjustable headband ensures a secure fit for a wide range of head sizes, from young students to adults, making it versatile for schools, tour groups, and even fitness centers. The inclusion of a 3.5mm plug means it connects instantly to almost any audio source, from tablets to desktop computers, without the need for pairing codes or battery management. The extended 120 cm cord offers enough reach for most seating arrangements, allowing users to move slightly without disconnecting.
However, you should skip this product if you require true wireless freedom or long-term durability for daily, heavy industrial use. They lack active noise cancellation technology and rely solely on the physical seal of the ear pads. If you are looking for multipoint headphones for construction work that can handle sweat, dust, and rough handling day after day, the HWE-05's plastic enclosure and "disposable" nature make it a poor fit compared to industrial-grade alternatives. It is ideal for short-term educational time, movies, or promotional giveaways, but not as a permanent piece of personal protective audio gear.
The Risegens 6.0 serves a completely different purpose: it is a bridge between old and new audio technologies. This device is a Bluetooth 6.0 transmitter and receiver set housed in a compact unit made of ABS plastic and metal, weighing only 10 grams. Its core value proposition is the ability to take any device with a 3.5mm AUX jack—such as an older TV, a car stereo, or a non-wireless gaming console—and convert it into a wireless hub. With internal antennas designed for stable signal transmission, it supports Bluetooth connectivity via 2.4 GHz radio frequency, ensuring a reliable connection for audio streaming.
This product is perfect for anyone who wants to upgrade their audio experience without buying new headphones. The inclusion of Qualcomm aptX HD support suggests high-fidelity audio transmission, which is a significant step up from standard Bluetooth codecs. The low latency feature is crucial for watching videos or playing games where audio sync matters. Furthermore, the dual-link capability allows two devices to connect simultaneously, making it possible to share audio with a partner or connect a microphone and headphones at the same time. The built-in microphone adds functionality for hands-free calls if the paired device supports it.
You should consider this adapter if you already own high-quality headphones or speakers that lack Bluetooth and want to modernize them. However, it is not a standalone solution; it does not produce sound on its own. You must pair it with a separate set of earbuds or headphones. For construction work, this device could be useful if you already have a specific pair of durable, wired bluetooth headphones for construction work that you want to keep using, but you need to stream audio from a tablet or phone that doesn't have a headphone jack. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery, with a charge time of 1.5 hours and 110 mAh energy content, offers portability, but you must remember to charge the dongle itself, adding another item to manage on a job site.
• Best for passive noise isolation: EXMAX HWE-05 wins here because the plush, over-ear design physically blocks out ambient noise better than a small adapter can.
• Best for wireless freedom: Risegens 6.0 is the clear winner, offering Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity that eliminates cables entirely once paired with compatible audio gear.
• Best for immediate plug-and-play simplicity: EXMAX HWE-05 requires zero setup; you simply plug it in and listen, whereas Risegens 6.0 requires pairing and charging.
• Best for multi-user environments: EXMAX HWE-05 is superior for equipping teams or classrooms, as it is sold in packs and designed for shared use.
• Best for high-fidelity audio streaming: Risegens 6.0 likely offers better sound quality for audiophiles due to the aptX HD codec support, assuming the paired headphones are capable.
• Best for durability in rough conditions: While neither is a heavy-duty industrial tool, the EXMAX HWE-05's impact resistance and tough plastic design suggest it handles drops better than the delicate electronics inside the Risegens dongle.
• Best for battery independence: EXMAX HWE-05 has no battery to manage, making it ready to use instantly, while Risegens 6.0 relies on its internal 110 mAh battery.
• Best for modern connectivity standards: Risegens 6.0 features the latest Bluetooth 6.0 technology, offering better range and stability than the wired 3.5mm standard of the EXMAX.
In my opinion, if you are specifically looking for multipoint headphones for construction work or similar high-noise environments, the EXMAX HWE-05 is the more logical starting point because it provides the actual ear protection and passive noise cancellation needed to hear clearly. However, I must clarify that the HWE-05 is a disposable-style unit, so for a permanent, rugged solution, neither product is a perfect industrial match, but the HWE-05 gets you closer to the "wearing" aspect of the task. Conversely, if you already have a pair of durable headphones and simply need to stream audio wirelessly from a tablet or machine interface, the Risegens 6.0 is the smarter investment. It transforms your existing gear into a modern system without the hassle of tangled wires. Ultimately, I would buy the Risegens 6.0 for versatility in a home or office setting, but I would recommend the EXMAX HWE-05 only for temporary, high-volume distribution needs where cost and ease of use outweigh longevity.
The EXMAX HWE-05 offers passive noise cancellation through its soft ear pads, which helps block some ambient noise, but it lacks active noise cancellation. Neither product is rated as industrial safety equipment, so for extremely loud sites, specialized hearing protection is still required.
Yes, the Risegens 6.0 acts as a receiver. You plug it into your wired headphones' 3.5mm jack, and it will stream audio wirelessly from your phone or computer, effectively turning them into wireless headphones.
The datasheet specifies a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery with 110 mAh capacity and a 1.5-hour charge time. Exact playback duration isn't listed, but it is designed for portable, on-the-go use.
No, the product information describes these as "disposable" or "wholesale" headphones intended for short-term uses like schools or hotels. They are not designed for the rigors of daily, heavy-duty industrial wear.
