For RemarkableU, “where” is both geography and philosophy — the literal landscapes we inhabit and the invisible ones we’re learning to navigate together.

These coordinates trace the world of our work — from the mountains of Montana to the digital campfires where voices gather, from the quiet stacks of rural libraries to the luminous edge of AI-assisted imagination.

Think of this page as a map of belonging — the places that hold the light, and the ways we carry it forward.

The Ground Beneath Us

This work was born in Montana — among mountains, rivers, and rural towns where the sky itself teaches scale.

Here, community still means faces you know and names you remember.

We start here because if new possibilities can grow in a place like this — where resources are scarce and distances wide — they can grow anywhere.

Every movement begins somewhere. Ours began with gratitude for the places that still hold quiet, courage, and connection.

The Libraries — Our Lighthouses

Each participating library is imagined as a light on the map — a station of hope, imagination, and learning.

We call them lighthouses because they don’t chase ships; they hold steady and guide them home.

This vision is part of our civic imagination — what might be possible if, when, and as libraries choose to open their doors to new forms of AI literacy and lifelong learning.

We recognize and respect that this is a work in progress — a conversation still unfolding. Our intention is not to speak for libraries, but to imagine with them.

We see public libraries — especially in rural communities — as the living heartbeat of lifelong learning. They already do so much with so little. What we hope is that the work we’re developing through RemarkableU might serve their missions, strengthen their communities, and offer practical tools for the next era of learning.

Libraries don’t need to be saved. They need to be relit — their place as the community’s lighthouse restored, their light kept steady in storm and silence alike.

The Digital Coastline

While our roots are local, our reach is digital.

These platforms are our evolving archipelago — islands of light connected by conversation:

• Clubhouse — the digital campfire. Audio-only by design, it invites us to speak without needing to be seen — to rediscover the art of storytelling and the lost skill of deep listening. You can hear truth in a voice. That’s where trust begins. It’s also where this whole journey started — where many of us realized that conversation itself could be curriculum. From those nights of dialogue came the first sketches of the Doors and Clubs in the Gameboard — and the insight that what we’re really searching for is a How-To Guidebook for Being Human.

The real journey begins inside — in the Landscapes of Being:
Mental, Physical, Social, Emotional, Material, Spiritual, Relational, Creative, Vocational, and Wild.

Each is a window in the Map/Gameboard, and each offers a way to explore who you are, what you care about, and how you can contribute.

This work isn’t about self-improvement — it’s about self-discovery.

Where you are now is the perfect place to begin.

The Map is the mirror. The Gameboard is the journey.

The Horizon We’re Heading Toward

We imagine a world where libraries shine once again as civic lighthouses — where learning is free, community is sacred, and imagination is shared currency.

But we begin here — in this landscape we now find ourselves: unsettled, uncertain, undeniably up for grabs.

There’s a cosmic call in the air — asking us to awaken, to act courageously, and to anchor our lives in purpose and meaning.

The question, of course, is who will lead the way?

I’m not here claiming to be an expert — only a creator who’s met the existential more times than I can count.
What I’ve learned from those encounters is the quiet art of discernment — and the necessity of pairing willful determination with loving intuition to keep taking small, steady steps into the novel unknown.

That’s the spirit we carry forward here.
Not as authorities, but as artists of possibility — curating experts, weaving wisdom, and charting our way together through the nebulous landscape of parts unknown.

At the horizon of all this work, we imagine a new balance between the intelligences that guide us:

HI – Human Intelligence: our curiosity, compassion, and creativity.
AI – Algorithmic Intelligence: our capacity to organize, remember, and extend what we know.
SI – Spiritual Intelligence: our sense of purpose, meaning, and moral direction — the quiet compass within.

When these three are in harmony, progress becomes more than innovation — it becomes evolution.
