1931 Exhibition of Indian Tribal Art 

Chokma! Thanks for visiting this blog. My name is Paige Moody and I'm a Chickasaw artist and researcher. For the summer of 2026 I have worked at the American Philosophical Society as an intern doing archival research. This website contains documentation, discussion, and photography in connection with the 1931-1933 Exhibition of Indian Tribal Art, which has been the focus of my research during my time in Philadelphia. This exhibition travelled  to 14 cities around the United States with pieces from the exhibition being shown in the 1932 Venice Biennial Exhibition!
