I want this website to be an exploration of the more casual, experimental side of the format. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a great deckbuilder, and I can often have trouble properly evaluating cards, which is why I like to play each deck over long periods of time, tweaking and tuning as I slowly improve the deck until I'm satisfied with it.
I've been an avid player of Magic for around 8 years (most of which was kitchen table), and I've been playing Penny Dreadful from Seasons 4 to 5, and seasons 16 to 18. I absolutely love this format because it feels so much like the kitchen table Magic that I love so much.
You can find me at jdfamnlj on MTGO
Penny Dreadful is a community-run, MTGO-only format in which all cards must be at or below 0.02 TIX to be legal. Although this price limit is strict, the power level of the format is surprisingly high, with some of the stronger decks able to consistently win on the early turns of the game. If you're interested in playing, here's how you can get started
