Excursion 2025-26
The month of February 2026 was an exciting time for the students of Bala Vidya Mandir as they participated in a series of educational and recreational excursions designed to promote experiential learning.
Classes 1 and 2 visited the Railway Museum, where they explored vintage locomotives and railway exhibits, gaining an understanding of the history of rail transport.
Classes 3 and 4 went on a picnic on 10 February 2026. They visited the Madras Crocodile Bank Trust, where they observed various reptiles and learned about conservation. They also explored Tiger Cave, admiring its unique rock-cut architecture. The students returned to school by 2:30 p.m. after a pleasant outing.
Class 5 visited Farm Guru and learned about organic farming, composting, and sustainable agricultural practices through hands-on activities.
Class 6 travelled to Mahabalipuram, where they explored historic monuments and enriched their knowledge of ancient Indian architecture.
Class 7 first visited Greenfield Resort, where they enjoyed outdoor team-building games and a lively magic show. They later toured the Parle Products biscuit factory and observed the biscuit-making and packaging processes.
Class 8 visited Rocks Sport, where students participated in adventurous activities which encouraged confidence, teamwork, and physical endurance.
Class 9 travelled to Puducherry, exploring the town’s cultural and historical landmarks.
Class 10 visited Pleasant Days Resort, where students enjoyed a day filled with both indoor and outdoor games, followed by a delightful lunch. It was a refreshing and enjoyable outing for the students.
Class 11 visited Mahabalipuram and spent the day at Mahabs Resorts. Students enjoyed a variety of games, energetic DJ sessions, and a delicious lunch, making it a fun-filled and memorable outing.
Class 12 travelled to Puducherry and visited R.K. Resorts, where they participated in both indoor and outdoor games, followed by lunch and relaxation time with their peers.
The excursions provided students with meaningful learning experiences while offering relaxation, fun, and opportunities to bond with their peers and teachers.
