About Me

Leslie Baez
Born and raised in Northern New Jersey, I attended Rutgers University for a Bachelors in History and English Literature. After working in educational publishing for a couple of years, I transitioned to the educational field and began a Master's of Arts in Teaching program at Montclair State University specializing in Special Education and Early Childhood Education.
As a Special Education teacher, I work on developing and implementing accommodations and modifcations for students who have been evaluated and have an IEP (Individualized Education Program). Over the years, I have seen how students' time management, organization, and work habits affect their academic success. I've implemented executive functioning small group sessions with students in middle school and helped students establish life long habits to help them manage multiple projects at once, studying for big exams, and prioritizing homework and extracurricular tasks.
