There is a tram stop (Université Lyon 1) in front of the Institute Camille Jordan ( lines T1 and T4). You can pay directly with your bank card, or it is possible to buy a metro/tram/bus card with 10 tickets, which is cheaper.

There is an express rail between the Lyon airport Saint Exupéry and central Lyon (Lyon Part Dieu train station) called Rhônexpress. Which is cheaper if the ticket is bought online. At the exit of the airport, there are some arrows on the floor pointing to the train station.
