Celebrating 140 Years of Music History
Welcome to Excelsior Band Preservation! We are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization developed to create an archival home for the Excelsior Brass Band of Mobile, AL. The Excelsior Band has been delighting Mobilians for generations since 1883, and breaking barriers along the way. Come and join us on the journey to preserve and protect the history of one of the longest lived musical organizations in the United States of America. We have so much to share!
🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at the Excelsior Band Preservation's inaugural fundraising event. It's an event like no other, and we want you to be there! 🎉The Exceslsior Band will celebrate 142 years delighting Mobile and the central gulf coast. The Jazz Studio, in its 11th year, will also perform.
Learn a little more about the history of the Excelsior Band and the collective stories that are out there to share. We are working to share our history with our local community. We wish to encourage and engage your support and look forward to sharing more with you and our other supporters.
We're celebrating over 140 years of music history in 2023! The thank our community for it's continued support and we look forward to sharing much more in the years to come. We just getting started and we appreciate your interest in learning more about the Excelsior Band!
