The XL Team predomiately has:
An employee is someone who works under an employment contract.
All employees are workers, but an employee has extra employment rights and responsibilities that do not apply to workers who are not employees.
Employees are entilted to occupational benefits such as holiday and sick pay and flexible working arrangements.
The XL Team have:
Full-time and Part Time employees
A Bank worker is someone who works under a terms of engagement.
As a bank worker the XL Team does not have to offer them work and they do not have to accept it.
Bank workers are not entitled to occupational benefits.
Workers are entitled to certain employment rights, including:
getting the National Minimum Wage
protection against unlawful deductions from wages
the statutory minimum length of rest breaks
to not work more than 48 hours on average per week or to opt out of this right if they choose
protection against unlawful discrimination
protection for ‘whistleblowing’ - reporting wrongdoing in the workplace.
The XL Team occasionally have:
Kickstarters - These members of staff are paid by the DWP while the XL Team delivers and devlops the persons employiblity skills.
Sub-contractor - The XL Team will need to subcontract particular job roles out to meet opertaional demands.
Contracts and terms of engagement all have specific terms that employees and workers agree to.
Contracted staff are all entitled to occupational benefits wherby bank staff are not.
Contracted staff have a probationary period wherby bank staff do not.
Training.
All staff will be given the oppurtinty to devlop their skills within their working remites and scope of practise.
The XL Team have identified statatory and mandatory training that all staff must complete.
