Welcome to the EXceL: NextG Wireless and Emerging Computing Systems Laboratory in the Department of Computer Science and WINLAB at Rutgers University.
We study interdisciplinary topics on Quantum x Wireless x AI x Systems. Our research aims at fundamental performance transformations that can redefine what is achievable in NextG networked and intelligent computing systems via non-traditional computing methods such as quantum and quantum-inspired computing. We develop both algorithmic and experimental foundations, from designing non-traditional computing algorithms to building real-time & end-to-end systems.
WINLAB (Wireless Information Network Laboratory) is a wireless research center founded at Rutgers in 1989. It features 20+ faculty members and the world's largest indoor and city-scale outdoor wireless testbeds deployed in New York City.
