Excel Academy offers both in person and online lessons and is dedicated to provide high quality tuition at reasonable prices. Our mission is to break down the traditional barriers of tutoring and inspire and elevate the minds of students through innovate teaching methods. We seek to make lessons fun and interesting so as to ensure that students are actively engaged in class. 

About Our Tutor (Aaron G)

Tutor Aaron is a part time tutor and a future undergraduate student in NUS pursuing a double degree in Business and Computer Science. 

With over 4 years of tutoring experience, he is confident of his teaching approach and has helped many batches of students produce excellent results in a short period of time. 

As a student in secondary school, Tutor Aaron did not excel and was lagging severely behind his peers. For his EOY in Sec 3, his L1R5 was only 20. Due to his dislike of studying at that time, he sought to create methods to understand the content without spending much time studying. 

The result?

Tutor Aaron managed to score 9 Distinctions for his O Levels and scored an L1R5 of 2, gaining him entry to the prestigious Raffles Institution where he furthered his studies and achieved AAA/AA for his A Levels. He also managed to score 1580/1600 for his American SAT exams, placing him at the top 25% of Harvard students (Harvard's average student scores 1520).

As a student who was initially academically challenged, Tutor Aaron has a deep understanding of the struggles of such students, allowing him to have a unique insight to the problems that they face. Tutor Aaron seeks to share with struggling students his methods and answering techniques so that they will also be able to achieve the grades that they deserve.

Slots Available

Due to popular demand (especially during exam times),  Tutor Aaron may not have sufficient slots for 1-1 tuition and hence online group lessons will be an alternative option.

Over the years as a tutor, Aaron's students managed to improve on average by a minimum of 2 grades in 3 months.

Tutor Aaron specialize in hacking exams by using unique memory techniques and focuses on having clear succinct answers that scores the most amount of points.

Under his tutelage, you will gain access to his knowledge on exam hacking skills and gain the knowledge required to ace your exams.

Students abilities to skip doing homework and tide through classes will not be allowed to be used here :)

Lessons will be engaging with multiple questions asked to ensure that the concepts are remembered firmly and to ensure that they are well prepared for their exams.
