Data we collect
- We do not collect personal data on our own servers.
- The app may request location permission to support map and navigation features.
- Location data is processed on-device and is only sent to your chosen navigation app (e.g. Google Maps) when you tap a route link.
- Your language preference is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted.
Third-party services
The app may open external map and navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze, or your phone's dialer) when you tap a relevant link. Those services collect data under their own privacy policies:
- Google Maps: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Waze: https://www.waze.com/legal/privacy
- Google Play Services: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Permissions
- Internet: to load route content and open external map links.
- Location (approximate or precise): optional, only used for map and navigation functionality. The app is fully usable without this permission.
Data sharing
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not share personal data except through third-party services that you explicitly initiate by tapping a link (for example, your location being sent to Google Maps when you tap "Open in Google Maps").
Data retention
- We do not store personal data on our own servers.
- The only data stored is your language preference, kept locally on your device and removable at any time by clearing the app's storage.
Your rights (GDPR)
As an EU resident, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, port your data, object, and withdraw consent. You may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority: https://www.dataprotectionauthority.be/
Because we do not collect personal data, most of these rights are not applicable in practice. To exercise a right or ask a question, contact us at the email below.
Children
This app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
