This Privacy Policy describes how ExamCreate ("the Application"), developed as a hobby project, handles your information. The Application is a fully functional offline exam management and testing utility tool designed primarily for students.

Personal Data
The Application is built with a privacy-first approach.
No Collection: We do not collect, request, or store any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical location).
Completely Offline: All data you create within the app—including question banks, exam files (.bank and .exam), custom configurations, and mock test scores—is stored locally on your physical device's storage. This data never leaves your device and is not uploaded to any external servers.
Non-Personal Data / Technical Data
Because the Application functions entirely offline for core tasks, it does not track app usage analytics, device identifiers, or crash logs natively.
2. Third-Party Services
While the Application itself does not collect data, it integrates with Google Play Billing to provide an optional, voluntary "Tip Jar" feature allowing users to support development.
When you use the Tip Jar, transactions are processed securely by Google. Google Play may collect data relative to your transaction, including:
Device information
Financial and payment information (handled strictly by Google Play)
In-app purchase history
We encourage you to review the Google Play Services Privacy Policy to understand how Google manages your transaction data. We do not have access to your credit card details or payment credentials.
3. Device Permissions and File Access
To maximize user privacy and comply with modern Android security standards, the Application utilizes Scoped Storage and the Native System File Picker.
No Broad Storage Permissions Required: The Application does not request or require intrusive storage permissions (such as "All Files Access" or broad read/write permissions) to scan your device directories.
Secure File Handling: When you import existing question banks or load custom images, the Application relies entirely on the secure, built-in Android System Picker. This means the Application only ever gains access to the specific, individual files you explicitly tap and select.
4. Children’s Privacy
The Application is intended for students of various ages. Because the Application does not collect, track, or share any personal data from any user, it is fully compliant with child privacy protection frameworks (including COPPA and GDPR). No data from children under the age of 13 is ever collected or processed.
