Syllabi

Syllabus Requirements: 

1. All sections on page one must be filled in with the correct course/instructor information

2. Course description, course objectives, QEP SLOs, Gen Ed Outcomes, should not be changed or removed

3. Methods of instruction, grading scale, assignment point/percentage value, disability concerns, and required textbook sections should remain, but be customized.

4. Class policies for communication, academic dishonesty, attendance, etc. should all be customized. SACSCOC requires students to attend 80% of sessions. 

5. Course schedule should feature readings, assignments, and any other activities students are required to complete for credit. Changes can be made to the syllabus during the semester by the instructor, but you must notify students of any changes. There should also be a statement in the syllabus stating that you may make changes during the semester.  Update all dates on the schedule and syllabus to reflect Fall 2023.
